“The Teen Intern Program has helped me build confidence and learn to think on my feet!”

I was a three-year member of the Teen Intern Program at the Museum of Science & History. As a freshman entering high school, I was really nervous about starting at MOSH my first year. I quickly learned how fun it is to work at MOSH alongside staff and my fellow interns. As an Elementary Camp intern, one of my favorite memories is definitely making liquid nitrogen ice cream with all the kids. That’s something you don’t get to do every day!

ACCOMPLISHMENT: Natural Science Intern of the Year
YEARS: 2010-2012

“The MOSH Teen Internship Program is one of the greatest things I've ever done. I think it's the most exciting way to get community hours for school.”

I have immensely enjoyed interning at MOSH. The Teen Internship Program enables me to work with my peers and alongside MOSH staff. Being a part of the Natural Science team has taught me so much about animal care. I believe any teenager wanting to learn what it's like working with animals would absolutely love being a part of the Natural Science team.
