Summer Adventure Camps
MOSH has planned a summer of science, planetarium shows, take-home
crafts, live demonstrations, and hands-on activities. Some camps
even include field trips to study
a topic on location. Dont miss this adventure!
June 16 to August 8
10% Discount on siblings
or multi-week campers
Please note that MOSH offers a 10% discount off the cost of camps
and extended day for multi-week campers or siblings. The discount
may be taken off all camps excluding Space Camp (4th/5th Grade)
and Space Robots Camp (5th/6th Grade). Please note that refunds
will not be given for discounts not taken at the time of registration!
If you have questions about your discount, please call before submitting
your registration form. MOSH staff is not responsible for automatically
deducting discounts for registrants.
Examples of discount:
Two children participating in one week of camp
each,
including extended day (non-member rate)
($175 x 2) + ($50 x 2)= $450 x 0.9= $405 total
One child participating in two weeks of camp, no
extended day (member rate)
$155 x 2= $310 x 0.9= $279
Two children participating in two weeks each,
one enrolled in Space Camp (member rate)
$155 x 3= $465 x 0.9= $418.50 + $200= $618.50
Information about field trips
The field trips that MOSH currently has scheduled for the
2008 Summer Adventure Camp include:
June 20- Earth Wind & Fire Camp only
Imax Theatre- /Antarctica
Transportation by School Bus
June 25- Movie Madness Camp only
Sally Corporation
We will take the Skyway from MOSH's San Marco Station to Sally's
Jefferson Station
July 16- Entomology Camp only
Pump it Up- indoor inflatable party zone
Transportation by School Bus
July 18- Space Camp only
Kennedy Space Center*
Transportation by School Bus
* Please note that this field trip will require early drop-off and
late pick-up
Aug 1- MOSH2O Camp only
Fishing Workshop with the Florida Fish & Wildlife Commission
Transportation by School Bus
Please note that field trips are subject to change or cancellation.
MOSH does not allow parental chaperones on field trips.
