About Project Safe Place
Project safe place makes it easy for youths in trouble and runaways to access the Youth Crisis Center by asking for help at any Safe Place site. As part of our continuing commitment to the community, the Museum of Science & History is a Safe Place.
There are more than 500 official Safe Place sites in Northeast Florida. Project Safe Place also has Outreach Specialists making presentations at schools, organizations, and clubs about how youths and families can work out their problems, the dangers of running away, and how to get help through a Safe Place like the Museum of Science & History.
To learn more about Project Safe Place call the Youth Crisis Center Outreach Department at (904) 720-0002 or (904) 823-0906. You can also visit their Web site at www.ycc.org.
