JEA Science Theater & Aqua Expo

Enter the domain of MOSH's Mad Scientists!

What do a mad scientist, a rocket-powered sled, and flying toilet paper have in common? They're all part of an exciting new learning experience at MOSH called the JEA Science Theater and Aqua Expo!

The Jacksonville Museum of Science & History (MOSH) and JEA teamed up to create another fun educational experience at MOSH. This one teaches kids of all ages about some of the science behind the energy that powers our homes and businesses, and about water, one of our most precious natural resources.

What will you learn today?

The exhibit is made up of two parts: The JEA Science Theater and the Aqua Expo. In the science theater, a "mad scientist"/educator uses some unconventional "tools" to demonstrate scientific principles. Kids visiting the theater will participate in science shows and learn about electricity and electrical safety. The Aqua Expo focuses on the scarce and precious nature of water and why it is so important to conserve it.
