Small groups (35 students or less) and homeschoolers can take advantage of special programming just for them! MOSH offers two options for these groups: (1) Private Small Group Programs or (2) Pre-scheduled Homeschool Programs (see schedule below).

Please note: All homeschools and small groups must pay in advance. Payment must be received one week prior to your MOSH visit. Programs may be canceled if there is not a sufficient number of participating students.

Small Group Programs

Exploring Florida's Wildlife (Grades K-12). This natural science program focuses on animals of Florida and their environment within the Florida landscape. This program is available to groups of 10-35 students any day at 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, or 12:00.

Currents of Time Tour (Grades 2-12) Go back in time as you take a Guided Walking Tour through the history of Jacksonville and NE Florida. This program is available to groups of 20 students or less any day at 9:00.

Pre-scheduled Homeschool Programs

MOSH is offering new Workshops and Shows for Homeschool students grades Pre-K to 12 on the first Tuesday of every month at 1:00 p.m. There is a limited amount of space so please register early to reserve your spot!

Workshops will last about 90 minutes and involve hands-on activities and crafts, with a fee of $10 per student (includes all supplies). Students participating in workshops will be divided into groups of like-grade levels.

Shows will last about 45 minutes, are interactive, and include a scavenger hunt, with a fee of $5 per student and $5 per adult.
