Citizenship in the Community

Discover what it takes to be a good citizen in your community. Learn the rights, duties, and obligations of citizenship, and how you can demonstrate good citizenship in your community. The workshop is from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and is $30 per scout. Scout leaders are free. All other attendees pay regular admission prices.


October 8

Citizenship in the Nation

Scouts will learn how to become active citizens who are aware of and grateful for their liberties and rights. Understand the need to participate in their government, how to protect their freedom, and the importance of standing up for individual rights on behalf of all its citizens. The workshop will take place from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and is $30 per scout. Scout leaders are free. All other attendees pay regular admission prices.


November 12

Citizenship in the World

Scouts will discover that they are already citizens of the world. They will recognize that being a good a world citizen depends on their willingness to understand & appreciate the values, traditions, and concerns of people in other countries. The workshop will take place from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and is $30 per scout. Scout leaders are free. All other attendees pay regular admission prices.

You must have a minimum of 10 scouts to schedule a private workshop.

  • When: Saturday & Sunday mornings, or weekday evenings
  • Time: Saturdays: 10 to 11:30 a.m. • Sundays: 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m • Weekday Evenings: Dependent upon MOSH Educator availability.
  • Cost: $10 per scout. Scout Leaders are Free. All other attendees pay regular admission prices.

Refund Policy: If you need to cancel your attendance to a scout workshop please contact MOSH no later than two weeks prior to the event date. Credits can be given to those cancelling with less than two weeks notice, but no credit or refunds will be given for no shows/no calls.
