Teaching Outside the Box
MOSH Boxes are portable storage boxes that contain items related to the box’s topic that teachers can use to supplement their in-class lessons. For example, the Body Box contains items such as models of fat and muscle, a memory game that lets kids match the healthy organs to unhealthy ones, a BMI machine, stethoscopes, books, and more. A curriculum guide contains suggested student activities. Teachers can rent the boxes for $50 for one week or $75 for 2 weeks (Friday drop off, Saturday pick up).
