Kindergarteners through 5th graders, join MOSH for Spring Into Science Camps where a new adventure awaits each day! Campers will also get to explore museum exhibits, participate in interactive science shows, and watch programs in the new Bryan-Gooding Planetarium!

CAMP THEMES
Monday, March 19 – Engineering with Food
Do you like to play with your food? In this camp, it’s encouraged! Explore what foods can be used to build a suspension bridge and other structures and experiment to discover what food items make the strongest creations.
Tuesday, March 20 – Flower Power
Do you have a green thumb? Celebrate the first day of spring with a tribute to Mother Nature. Campers will learn how humans depend on plants in our daily lives and why they are so important for the Earth. And, will get down and dirty as they plant a garden!
Wednesday, March 21 – Space Science 101
3…2…1…Blast off! Campers will take a journey through space to learn about our solar system and all things space! What is it like to be an astronaut? Campers will discover the answer to this question and more as they explore the new Bryan-Gooding Planetarium on this stellar expedition through space, the final frontier!
Thursday, March 22 – Animal Encounter
Get up close and personal with the scaly, slithery and furry animals of MOSH. The Florida Naturalist’s Center is home to more than 60 resident critters. Campers will interact with some of the animals as they learn about the habitats and eating habits of the animals native to Northeast Florida.
Friday, March 23 – LEGO® Camp: Architect Adventure
Calling all LEGO enthusiasts! Are you ready for the challenge? Go head-to-head with your fellow campers in friendly competitions to build the strongest bridge, tallest tower and other LEGO® creations. You’ll also explore building structures using different materials.
What You Need to Know
Spring Into Science Camp is from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
Before- and after-care is available from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.
Campers must bring their own lunch.
Campers must be currently enrolled in Kindergarten through 5th grade….sorry we cannot make exceptions!
